Fair Usage Policy

This Fair Usage Policy ("FUP") applies to all customers ("you" or "your") using Provisoft's staff rostering software ("Service") and is designed to ensure equitable access, optimal performance, and system stability for all users. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. PURPOSE

Provisoft provides cloud-based rostering solutions with shared infrastructure resources.

This policy:

Prevents excessive or abusive usage that could degrade performance for others.

Defines reasonable limits based on subscription tiers.

Outlines consequences for policy violations.

2. REASONABLE USAGE LIMITS

2.1 Account Activity

2.2 Data Storage

Included storage: As per the plan

3. UNACCEPTABLE USAGE

Prohibited activities include:

System manipulation: Automated scraping, crawling, or data mining without prior written consent

Circumvention: Creating multiple accounts to bypass usage limits

Commercial exploitation: Reselling or repackaging Provisoft data/services

Disruptive behavior: Generating excessive load that impacts other customers

4. MONITORING & ENFORCEMENT

4.1 Provisoft monitors usage patterns to:

Identify potential abuse

Optimize system performance

Contact customers approaching limits

4.2 Remedial Actions:

First violation: Warning notice + usage consultation

Repeat violation: Temporary throttling or service suspension

Severe abuse: Immediate termination per Terms of Service

5. SUBSCRIPTION UPGRADES

Customers requiring higher limits may:

Upgrade to higher-tier plans

Request custom Enterprise agreements

Purchase API call/data storage bundles

6. POLICY CHANGES

Provisoft may amend this FUP with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
